Quantitative Analysis of Conversations: A Window on the Interplay of Language and Communication

Professor AMU and director of the LPL, Laurent Prévot is invited to present a plenary lecture at the international conference Pacific Asia Conference Language Information and Computation (PACLIC 32) at Hong Kong Polytechnic University from December 1st to 3rd. His presentation will focus on “Quantitative Analysis of Conversations: A Window on the Interplay of Language and Communication”.

Registration for the XXXIIth edition of the Study Days on Speech (JEP2018) is now open! Organized by the Laboratoire Parole et Langage the conference will take place from 4 to 8 June 2018 at Aix-Marseille University – Campus Schuman, Aix-en-Provence. For nearly 50 years (1st edition, 1970, Grenoble), the Study Days on Speech have brought together about one hundred researchers from the Francophone community in the sciences and technologies of speech coming from different scientific horizons.
